SolidWorks Midterm

Description

Today was the midterm for the SoidWorks class I've been taking. We could build anything we wanted, even if it was just random shapes, as long as they demonstrated a list of specific skills.

Extruded Boss/base: The bottom half was extruded from a rectangle.
Extruded Cut: There is a hole in the top that the hopper is sitting in, there is a hole in the side where the handle is stuck in, and all of the holes in the grille.
Revolved Boss/Base: The hopper is a revolved spline curve. I got extra fancy there.
Revolved Cut: There is a shoulder cut in the bottom of the hopper so it will fit in the bottom half.
Swept Boss/Base: The bent wire part of the handle.
Fillets: On the edges of the base
Chamfers: Errr, It looks like I missed those, I meant to chamfer the edge of the hopper. Don't tell the teacher.
Ribs: There is a rib underneath.
Shells: Both the base and the hopper were hollowed out using the shell featire.
Draft: The slope on the base was created with a draft.
Patterns: The holes of the grille were arranged using the pattern tool.
Lofted Boss/Base: Used in the Knob on the handle.
And we had to create planes and relations which you can't see but were used all over the place.

wow, that's a lot of technobabble for a delightfully simplistic piece :jawdrop:
