"Capricious was a little goat. He was so happy he was going to Capricon XXX! He's had a lot of fun there in previous years, and this year's theme is Celebration! He has his party hat on so he can be ready to celebrate Capricon's 30th year."
When Capricious came to be, he was just a regular goat. Based off of a small ceramic sculpture one of the con-com brought back from a ski trip. That version of Capricious has been used every year in the at-con newsletter "Goat Droppings."
A few years back, the editor of GD asked me to dress up Capricious to match the theme. This was for Capricon 30, Celebration.
This year I did something a little different. I told a little story to go with each picture. This is the first of five.
