Rocket in my Backyard

In the story, Cap Recon was a retired agent, now spending his days as a children's book author. He was snatched while on a book tour for his latest title, "A Rocket in my Backyard"

In reality, Cap Recon was the first mascot for Capricon, originally drawn by Phil Foglio. I have a copy of the Capricon 3 program book where he's on the cover fighting the horrible Mudlumps.
